If old-school tracker music is foreign to you, here are the key bits: there are no dsp effects used and the instruments usually consist of a single sound which is digitally stretched to different frequencies. Sometimes the instruments might be formed from many sounds, for example, in "A fish and a bird", the piano consists of 8 piano samples (one per octave). The samples are of varying quality, ranging from 8bit, 8khz samples to 16bit, 44khz samples. In tracker music scene quality was never the important thing, it was the sound that mattered. The following songs are from years 1999-2002 and is a sampling of a few hundred songs I have written during 1996-2003. They were written with Impulse Tracker II, rendered with Modplug Player and converted to mp3 with Audacity.
